SHOP AT BOYER’S – stop by the library and pick up a Boyer’s Food Market “Great Caring, Great Sharing” key ring card. Scan the card when you shop and the library receives a 1% rebate check biannually.

SHOP AT REDNER’S – use your “Save-A-Tape” card (you get at customer service) when shopping, save your receipts and drop them off at the library which will be totaled and sent in for 1% cash rebate.

BOOK MEMORIAL

As one of its special services, the Tamaqua Public Library offers a unique way to create a lasting memorial to someone who has passed on. A donor may visit the library and make a tax-deductible contribution of at least $25 for a book to be presented to the library in the name of a friend or relative. The attached form may be mailed with a check to the Tamaqua Public Library.

A new book will be selected by the library staff, and a bookplate incorporating the name of the donor and the person being remembered will be placed in the book.

In addition, an acknowledgement card identifying the donor will be sent to the family of the person being remembered.

Memorial donations of $1,000 or more will be honored with a plaque placed in the library’s lobby.

ENDOWMENT FUND

Would you like to make a civic contribution that would have a lasting beneficial effect?  The Tamaqua Public Library Endowment Fund is an ideal way to make that kind of contribution.  Your gift will be placed in the Endowment Fund, and each year the interest will be used to support the library.  The principal will never be used, thereby guaranteeing the perpetuity of the fund. Your one gift will bring new books and other resources to the Tamaqua Public Library forever.  A perpetual contribution to Knowledge — that’s a powerful contribution!

Donors of $500 or more, or their honorees, will be recognized on a permanently-inscribed plaque to be prominently displayed in the Library.

A gift to the Endowment Fund would be a beautiful way to perpetuate the memory of a loved one.  Gifts may be made to honor a friend, relative, colleague, or organization; to celebrate a birth, marriage, anniversary, retirement, promotion, etc.  Another option that you might wish to contemplate is a bequest in your will.
