The Tamaqua Public Library has a selection of ready reference materials which may be used at the library. These materials include English and Foreign language dictionaries, atlases, TAHS Yearbooks, The Physicians Desk Reference, Who's Who Among American High School Students, The Encyclopedia Britannica, The Encyclopedia Americana, The Academic American Encyclopedia, The World Book, The New Book of Knowledge and many other subject specific reference materials and encyclopedias.

The Tamaqua Public Library's computers also allow our users to access the Encarta Encyclopedia, Encarta World Atlas, Encarta Researcher, Encarta Dictionary, Microsoft Streets & Trips and the ACCESS PA PROGRAM.
